Sat in a parent conference yesterday where I was compared to a bird: motherly wings & all. I shied away from such instincts for a long time, but perhaps I am more suited to it than I previously thought. This particular child makes it fairly easy. I am a fan of the ones who light up when praised & am all about making kids realize what they’re worth.
